Carole Cuevas
First off we would like to wish Carole a Happy 18th Birthday once again. Our event coverage started and ended at the Hilton Hotel in Universal City, Ca.  Preperation began at the hotel on the 14th floor overlooking Universal City Walk.  We then took a free shuttle ride to Universal City walked and towards the famous Universal Studios spinning globe at the front entrance where Alan Mallari from Alan Mallari Photography conducted his photo shoot. We then headed back to the Hilton and this is where the Party began.  From 18 roses, 18 candles  the main cotillion dance, and father daughter dance, the party just kept getting better. There were also special performances performed by Carole and Carole's Debutant court choreographed by Ricky Dulay. Insite also presented a photo montage created by Clyde to be shown right after dinner. Overall the celebration was a success especially when Carole was surrounded by her close friends and family that traveled many miles to join her in celebrating her 18th birthday.  IV would like to thank Carole and her wonderful parents for inviting us and letting us capture their daughters special day!

Blessie + Paul
Today we had the opportunity to spend the day with Paul + Blessie and their 2 lovely children. We spent a couple hours filming the lovely family at Manhattan Beach. This type of filming was more of a production type which was awesome. The family was so easy to work with and were just having a great time in this lovely California weather. The second production filming ended in Carson , Ca. at Club S.O.L. Here the lovely couple were gathered by there close friends and family in which were very patient and easy to direct. Time was a factor that night since we only had three hours to capture everything we needed to get. We did manage to get all the necessary footage we need that will be edited in post to present on their wedding day together with a Same Day Edit. We look forward to their wedding day in August and we can't wait to show you all the Love Story Music Video and the other Highlights as well.

Linda + Julio
What a way to start the New Year with our first wedding of 2012. We had the opportunity to share Julio + Linda's special day. There was two ceremonies, one in which was a traditional tea ceremony and the other, a western ceremony. The reception ended up at the Crown Plaza in Anaheim, Ca. With over 300 guests, a live band, photo booth courtesy of Brandon Wong Photography, the night was filled with family and friends ready to celebrate with the newlyweds. The lovely couple were very shy at first, but as the day went on they started to feel a little more relaxed and comfortable. It was a long day, but definitely worth it.  Once again from all of us at iNSiTE ViSiONS, Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Julio Ortega.

Our testimonial from our Client Lan+Tristan from Wedding Wire

If we could give INSiTE ViSiONs more than five stars, we would! These guys haven't worked in the wedding industry for too long, but their work ethic, professional and artistic approach to their videography/cinematography would make you think they've been at it for years and years! They truly were wonderful to work with and we're so thankful that google led us to them.

From our initial pricing inquiry to the wedding day and every communication in between and after, the INSiTE ViSiONS team was a pleasure to talk to and be around. Their friendly approachable ways made it easy for us to make suggestions or requests without feeling like we’re stepping beyond our elements and in the end they produced a Same Day Edit that is uniquely us and that we so proudly showed (bragged) to our friends and family and even strangers on the streets! *Hubby showed it to EVERYONE on our honeymoon!* Clyde did our video editing and he did a marvelous job with our same day edit! Our families and friends loved it and we could see the monumentus effort the whole team put into creating a 4 minutes video we shared with our guest during the reception. The SDE blew us away and we can't wait to see the final products.

Our wedding day started at 4 am and they showed up dressed for the occasision (it was a super long day!). They were so thoughtful to bring us a specially made hanger (with our names) to hang my wedding dress on. They really helped set the tone for the rest of the day with that thoughtful surprise! They warned us there would be upward of 4 to 5 camera crew members..but we honestly didn't even notice them and was told by our other vendors that every one of them were very pleasant and respectful (our vendors told us horror stories of other videographers at other events)!

The guys of INSiTE ViSiONS are really talented with such great visions for capturing the special moments of our wedding day...their kindness and thoughtfulness really made the day enjoyable. We truly enjoyed having INSiTE ViSiONs be a part of our day and we would be honored to provide them with high recommends future brides/grooms looking for a quality videographer/cinematographer to capture the special moments in their life.

NEWPORT BEACH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER / SWEET 16 PARTY / HUNTINGTON BEACH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER / RED CARPET PORTRAITS... DAVID ESQUIRE PHOTOGRAPHY

Picture
We recently got a shout out from one of the greatest photographers from Newport Beach. We had the Pleasure of working alongside David Esquire whom which is a a great and awesome guy. This event was planned by Monique and Caesar from A Blissful Affair. This is what David had to say...
NEWPORT BEACH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER / SWEET 16 PARTY / HUNTINGTON BEACH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER / RED CARPET PORTRAITS10.16.2011 POSTED IN EVENTS

Good evening from Orange County everyone!  About 6 cups of coffee later and a few meetings & phone calls, this is one Newport Beach Wedding Photographer that’s totally stoked to share another event with you.

A few years ago I had the honour of meeting Monique & Cesar to chat with them about their wedding.  The three of us were a total hit from the start and eventually I photographed their Los Angeles Engagement Shoot at Union Station & The Edison and shortly after – photographed their La Habra Wedding & Reception at the Westridge Golf Club.

Throughout the years, Monique, Cesar and I have totally kept in touch.  Monique has kicked off her new and thriving Event Planning company called; A Blissful Affair along with recently re-hiring me to be their Event Photographer for their Dual Birthday Party - which they celebrated at the same place they had their wedding at; the Westridge Golf Club.

At Monique & Cesar’s Birthday Party – I met Natalie who hired me to be her photographer for her Sweet 16 Red Carpet Masquerade Party and Laguna Beach Portrait Shoot  that I photographed for her just hours before meeting up with my friends; Carri & Kai for a surprise GTG at Club 1984.

The best way to describe Natalie’s Sweet 16 Red Carpet Masquerade Party is a kalidoscope of colours crashing into a celebration orchestrated by none other than the amazing Monique & Cesar with A Blissful Affair.  From the ceremony out on the lawn overlooking the pond and rolling hills to the red carpet entrance, candy bar, mariachi band and totally out of this world performances by the Bohemia Dance Company – Natalie’s Masquerade Party was everything a perfect event should be.

Plus!  I also had a great working encore with the pro trio of Paul, Ceff & Clyde from INSiTE ViSiONS– who hands down have got to be one of the best teams of videographers out there that I’ve had the honour of working with.

There’s a special shout out I want to give to my good friend Danny Mendoza who recently has moved to Spain doing what he loves; photography.  Danny was my 2nd cameraman and jokester for Natalie’s party and as to be expected - we both had a total blast working together.  This Christmas, we’re doing our best to GTG in Paris or London to do what we do best; nutrition debauchery with Nachos & Newcastles.  HeHeHe!  There might be some photography in there too.  LOL!!

So!  Before you check out some of my favourite photographs from Natalie’s Sweet 16 Red Carpet Masquerade Party at the at the Westridge Golf Club in La Habra and you’re thinking…  Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Newport Beach Wedding Photographer (Previously a Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer) that loves music & fashion, photography and art, feel free to contact me anytime.

I’m available just about 24/7 via Twitter, Facebook, Google+, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

I hope you had a great weekend and totally keep in touch for more gorgeous weddings and epic parties and events I’ve had the honour of photographing from San Diego to Ventura and even here in Newport Beach.  Next month, I’ll need to add Oakland as I’ll be heading up to Oakland for Angela’s wedding.  Which BTW will be an interesting weekend as I’m photographing three weddings that weekend in Oakland, San Diego & Ventura.  Can I say Wholly Nachos & Newcastles – that’s gonna be an awesome & epic weekend!

PS, If you’ve been keeping up with my Facebook and Twitter updates yesterday, then you more than likely saw some of the photos and artists that were performing at The Hollywood Bowl for A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation.  There were absofreakinlutely ahhhhhhmaaayyyyyzeeeeeeng performances by Lady Gaga, Bono & The Edge from U2, Kenny Chesney, Usher & a LOT more!  I’ll have quite a few more to come – but totally check out my iPhone Gallery on Facebook.  I’ve got some fun photos in there and I was rockin’ my favourite jacket from SLS Distributors, where I’m a Staff Photographer and my new Tom Ford outrageously epic and totally huge sunglasses from a new business partner that I’m working with in Italy.  THAT is a great announcement coming very soon!

PSS, I also wanted to add that I’m a HUGE fan of the Clinton Foundation.  In today’s global society – it’s no longer a race, religion or political issue, but a human issue dealing with the challenges we face across the planet.  That’s my simple take on it, but a more elaborate explanation about the Clinton Foundation is this:  To alleviate poverty, improve global health, strengthen economies, and protect the environment by fostering partnerships among governments, businesses, nongovernmental organizations, and private citizens to turn good intentions into measurable results.  They’reDEFINITELY helping keep the Butterfly Effect alive & thriving!

Lan + Tristan

Lan + Tristan [Same Day Edit]

Lan and Tristan Chang's Wedding was our third opportunity to spend the day with yet, another friendly and enjoyable couple.  The difference between this wedding and our previous events was that Lan and Tristan's Wedding consisted of the Traditional Chinese/Vietnamese Tea Ceremonies.  One was held at the Residence of the Bride as the other followed at the Residence of the groom.  Following the ceremony at the groom's house, a Western (Traditional) Ceremony was held in the backyard.  They transformed what would seem to be a normal backyard  into very intricate, almost Garden looking scenario.  The energy and emotions that were in the air at all the ceremonies acted almost like a breathe of fresh air, a metaphoric second wind that kept us full of energy; considering the fact that the previous night we were filming the Wedding of Nancy and Antonio Espinoza.  This was not the first time we held back to back events, although this was the first time that both events happened to be Weddings.  It is a blessing to be able to spend the day with people who have found that one special person in their lives that they want to walk the rest of life's road with.
For Lan and Tristan's Wedding we had the privilege to allow a friend, Mark Garma, to come along and fill in as a Videographer.  An additional videographer was necessary due to the fact that one of our Primary Cinematographers created a Same Day Edit.  [To be continued...]

Natalie's Sweet 16 Masque

For Natalie's Sweet 16 Masque, we returned to the Westridge Golf Club where we filmed one of our Affiliate's (A Blissful Affair) Birthday Bash.  We always enjoy working with Monique and her Husband Cesar.  They always seem to make any event fun and stress free.  David Esquire from Esquire Photography is their main photographer and he always seems to get the guests rattled up and excited to take photos, which makes it a whole late easier for us to capture footage of their random moments and expressions.  The event took place on July 1, 2011- this was the first time that we actually incorporated the Manfrotto 562BHDV-1 Fluid Head mono-pod.  The versatile run and gun style system was perfect for all of the fun and dynamic events that they had going at Natalie's Sweet 16.  Please visit our "Visions" tab at the top of the page to view the video.

Allison Ovid's 18th Birthday [Debut]
Photo Courtesy of Mogi Photography (Jonathan Narvaez)

A Debut is a Filipino coming-of-age tradition that takes place when a young lady turns 18.  The Debutante (Birthday Celebrant) has a Cotillion Court which includes her escort along with 9 boys and 9 girls.  At the party, they perform a Grand Cotillion Waltz. Two traditions refer to her age, 18.  First is the 18 Rose Dance, during this dance, the debutante will dance with 18 men who will each offer her a rose.  The second tradition is the 18 Candle Ceremony, wherein 18 ladies will light 18 candles to resemble the 18 points of light that will guide her in her transition to womanhood.
On July 23, 2011 we had the opportunity to film Allison Ovid's Debut at The Reef restaurant in our hometown Long Beach, CA.  While we were filming her preparation at the Residence Inn,  her father jokingly asked us to start editing.  Since they were friends of ours, it didn't require us much thought before we decided to challenge our editor and attempt the Same Day Edit late in the game.  The day started at 10:00am at the salon and it was around 5:30pm when we started to look through the footage and surprisingly enough we were able to export the HD video just in time.  We surprised Allison with this Film at the Reception following the traditional Slide Show her friend made displaying her life since birth.
